Informazioni biografiche:

Luigi Salvatore Degni è un artista americano che adesso vive inUmbria, precisamente  a Fabro. I suoi antenati italiani, alcuni dei quali artisti, erano di Foggia, Bari e Aquino.

Luigi ha prima imparato a dipingere quando era un bambino e ha ricevuto insegnamenti da un prozio (Ernesto De Sanctis). Negli anni successivi ha studiato l’arte da studente universitario. Tuttavia, per gran parte della sua vita, non ha perseguito la vena artistica perché ha avuto una carriera come agente dell’FBI negli Stati Uniti.

Luigi è ora in pensione qui in Italia e continua a perseguire la sua passione per la pittura.

 

 

Biographical information:

Luigi Salvatore Degni is an American artist of Italian decent who residents in Fabro, Italy. His Italian family, some of whom were artists, were from Foggia, Bari and Aquino Italy.

Luigi first learned to paint when he was a child and received instructions from a great-uncle (Ernesto De Sanctis). In the following years he studied art as a university student. However, for much of his life, he has not pursued art because of his career as an FBI agent in the United States. Louis is now retired here in Fabro, Italy and is pursuing his passion for art.
